BC Transplant Education Days 2019

Join us this year at Paetzhold Health Education Centre (Vancouver General Hospital) for BC Transplant Education Days 2019: Journey from Donation to Transplant.

In collaboration with UBC Division of Critical Care Medicine, BC Transplant is hosting a two-day conference with a donation-focused program on September 16 and a transplant-focused program on September 17. Our featured speakers this year include:

• Dr. Sam Shemie (Medical Advisor, Canadian Blood Services)

• Dr. Maureen Meade (Director, DONATE Research Program)

• Jennifer Woolfsmith (Donor Mom)

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.

There are three registration fee categories:

1) Healthcare Professional/Student

2) Physician

3) Webcasting (access instructions will be emailed to you prior to the event)

Accreditation statement for BC Transplant Education Days 2019
The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide study credits for continuing medical education for physicians. This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and has been approved by UBC CPD for up to 13.0 MOC Section 1 Group Learning credits. Each physician should claim only those credits accrued through participation in the activity.
